Carmel ES Honored by Georgia State Board of Education

Congratulations to Carmel Elementary School! The school was recognized this morning by the Georgia State Board of Education for being named a National ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) Distinguished School! Only 100 schools across the nation are selected for this prestigious annual recognition celebrating exceptional student performance and academic growth. Principal Lisa Rich and her school leadership team, Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis, and district leaders, joined in today's celebration of Carmel -- the first CCSD school to win this prestigious national recognition! #CCSDElevateTheExcellence
