What’s the most innovative idea that you’ve tried in your classroom? 
At the end of our producers and consumers unit, first grade participated in a community.  Students took turns being both producers and consumers, working or shopping at different stores that were set up. Students were given money, and each store had a set price.  This was a great way to get students engaged and invested in their learning!  
Who is the best teacher you ever had and what made him or her special?
The best teacher I ever had was my sixth-grade teacher Mr. Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix made learning engaging and fun!  He was very supportive and believed in all of his students.  He had a fun teaching style that kept students interested and engaged. 
What can parents do to prepare their children for learning?
Parents can prepare their children for learning by being supportive and involved in their learning!  Parents can encourage their children and help them set goals in and out of the classroom. 
What are the obstacles to getting all kids to achieve?
Each student has a different learning style.  It is important to get to know how students learn and what interests them to keep them engaged in their learning.  It is important to create a positive learning environment where students can build their confidence and learn to grow!
